Self-generated solar power
At COSTA NOVA, we use 1,300 kW of solar panels to harness solar energy. During the day, our newest factory can operate entirely on the energy generated by its solar panels. Our other production facilities are powered by a combination of solar energy and other renewable sources.
Maximizing Heat Reusages
Heat from our kilns is reused in a closed-loop system that supplies the burners and preheating furnace. We also use the heat generated by the kilns in drying processes, reducing the need for additional energy consumption.
Single Firing
Our pieces are produced using a single-firing process, which requires significantly less energy than the double-firing system used in other stoneware or porcelain production processes. This helps reduce the energy consumption associated with manufacturing and, consequently, CO₂ emissions.
