The legal guarantee of conformity has a minimum duration of 2 years, counted from the delivery of the product to the consumer, without prejudice to any longer period that may result from applicable national legislation.

Should the product show a lack of conformity, the consumer is entitled, under the terms legally provided for, to have conformity restored through free repair or replacement of the product. Where repair or replacement is not possible, is not carried out within a reasonable time, or would cause significant inconvenience to the consumer, other remedies provided for by law may apply, namely a proportionate price reduction or termination of the contract.

To make a claim under the legal guarantee of conformity, the customer should contact COSTA NOVA via the form available on the website or by email at costanovaeu@costanova.com, indicating the order reference and describing the lack of conformity identified. The customer must also provide proof of purchase, such as an invoice or other document evidencing the acquisition.

All guarantee claims will be individually assessed by COSTA NOVA's Customer Service, as each situation is unique and must be evaluated according to the nature of the product, the lack of conformity identified and the specific circumstances of each case. For the purposes of this assessment, COSTA NOVA may request additional information, photographs or other evidence it deems necessary to evaluate the situation.

The legal guarantee of conformity does not cover damage or lack of conformity resulting from inappropriate use, use contrary to the instructions provided, accidents or alterations made by the customer, without prejudice to the rights legally granted to the consumer.

This legal guarantee of conformity does not affect any additional commercial guarantees that may be voluntarily offered by COSTA NOVA or the manufacturer, which are independent of the legal guarantee and are subject to their own terms and conditions.
