INGREDIENTS


For the cake
1 cup strong coffee
10 tablespoons unsalted butter
3/4 cup cocoa powder
3 eggs
1/2 cup plain yogurt or sour cream
2 cups sugar
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
A pinch of salt

For the ganache
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup heavy cream

INSTRUCTIONS


STEP 1
In a saucepan, heat the coffee with the butter and cocoa, stirring until melted and smooth. Let cool for 10 minutes.

STEP 2
In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until pale and fluffy. Add the yogurt and fold in. Slowly add the cooled cocoa mixture. Sift the flour with the baking powder and salt and gently incorporate into the batter.

STEP 3
Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF). Grease a Bundt pan and pour in the batter. Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a rack until completely cool.

STEP 4
For the ganache, heat the cream and pour it over the chocolate. Wait 1 minute, then stir until glossy. Let cool slightly.

STEP 5
Drizzle the cooled cake with the ganache, letting it run gently down the sides. Rest a few minutes for the topping to set.

STEP 6
Present the cake on the beautiful Stacked Organic stand by Costa Nova and serve with coffee. A sweet moment, full of love and flavor.
